CAMBODIA: STRIKING GARMENT WORKERS KILLED IN BRUTAL REPRESSION

Garment workers in Cambodia demanding a minimum wage are on strike since last year’s Christmas. On January 3, the brutal response from the government claims at least 5 victims murdered to death, which suspended the strike. On January 4, an opposition protest camp in Freedom Park was also violently dispersed. The workers need urgent solidarity to be strong for continuing their fight for better conditions.
